Cyberpunk 2077 Mission List – How Many Missions Are In The Game?

Although Cyberpunk 2077 was heavily criticised for its buggy and broken release, developer CD Projekt Red has worked tirelessly to improve the title and it’s seemingly managed to do so, with more people than ever playing the action RPG game and looking ahead to its first major expansion, Phantom Liberty. If you’re giving it a go, take a look at our Cyberpunk 2077 mission list of all 27 main quests to work out how long the game is and far into it you are.

Prologue

When you begin the game, you’ll be provided with a choice of three lifepaths; Corpo, Streetkid, and Nomad. Whichever lifepath you select will have a direct impact on the first mission within the game, which include the following:

Once you’ve completed the first mission of the game, you’ll then be introduced to Night City and can complete the game’s prologue with the following two missions:

Once you’ve completed the above, you can begin the first of the game’s two main acts.

Act One

The first act of Cyberpunk 2077 starts with you seeking out a Ripperdoc to install new cyberware. After that, you’ll be able to breeze through the first act up until Love Like Fire, the ninth main mission in the game that also acts as an interlude separating the first two acts.

Act Two

The first mission of Cyberpunk 2077’s second act sees you face the repercussions of the heist from the first act, which ended with you bonding with Johnny Silverhand and experiencing one of his memories.

  • [10] Playing For Time

After completing Playing For Time, you’ll be given the choice of three job paths; Automatic Love, Ghost Town or Down On The Street. All of these missions trigger a chain of other missions for you to complete and make up the majority of the game’s second act leading to the game’s ending with mission Nocturne Op55N1.

All of the missions after Playing For Time can be completed at any time, so take them on as you wish. For this guide, we’v decided to list Automatic Love and its corresponding quests as the next missions.

Once you’ve completed the above, you’ll be at the point of no return and can proceed to completing the game and acquiring any of its six endings; two you can acquire naturally while one is secret and the remaining three require you to complete side quests.
