The Guardians Of The Galaxy game includes 16 main chapters along with a short prologue where you play as a young Peter Quill on his 13th birthday for a total of 17 chapters.
You earn a trophy or achievement for completing each chapter excluding the prologue, along with a trophy or achievement for completing the game’s main story.

None of the chapters in Guardians Of The Galaxy can be skipped, but there is a Chapter Select available once you’ve completed the game – you can see it in the screenshot above – that allows you to replay any of the game’s chapters for missed trophies or achievements.
However, it’s important to note that replaying older chapters resets your collectables and compendium progress, so it’s a good idea to try and complete that as much as you can.
It took us around 20 hours to complete the game’s main story and some collectables, and then up to 30 to platinum the game and complete all side content.
