Avalanche Software and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have delayed Hogwarts Legacy to February 2023.
The upcoming action RPG was set to launch this Holiday season after a delay from 2021 but it has been delayed again to 2023, albeit with an official launch date of February 10th for PC and PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
A release date for the Nintendo Switch version will be announced soon.
The news was shared on the official Hogwarts Legacy Twitter account in which the development team explained that they are “excited for you to play” but “need a little more time to deliver the best possible game experience”.

Just last week, Avalanche Software held a presentation at Autodesk’s Autodesk Vision Series in which it unveiled the first look at the game’s character creator and shared a brand-new cutscene involving dark wizards and hippogriffs.
Back in March, Sony PlayStation held a special Hogwarts Life State Of Play, offering a deep dive into the upcoming title’s gameplay and story, and this was followed by a blog post in May that detailed how Hogwarts Legacy will utilise the PS5’s special features to immerse you into the game.
