Here’s Everything Announced At Xbox’s March 2024 Partner Preview
Microsoft held its March 2024 Xbox Partner Preview broadcast today (March 6th, 2024), showcasing several games due to launch on PC and Xbox consoles in the coming months. If you missed the event, take a look at everything that was revealed right here.
Unknown 9: Awakening
Unknown 9: Awakening is an action-adventure game in which you play as Haroona, a truth seeker with a connection to a dimension known as the Fold, who embarks on a journey to avenge the wrongs of her past while facing the Ascendants, a group of people looking to use the Fold for themselves.
Unknown 9: Awakening launches on PC, Xbox Series and One consoles, and PlayStation 4 and 5 later this summer.
Sleight Of Hand
Sleight Of Hand has been described as a third-person stealth-action deckbuilder that tasks you with infiltrating the rain-slicked city of Taboo to take down the coven you previously ran with.
The game will be released on Xbox Series consoles.
The Alters
The Alters is a survival, action-adventure game where you play as worker Jan Dolski who, in a desperate attempt to survive, must create alternative versions of himself to help him escape a deadly planet.
The Alters will be released later this year for PC and Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 consoles.
Creatures Of Ava
An action-adventure creature-taming game, Creatures Of Ava sees you play as adventurer Vic as she and researcher Tabitha embark on an expedition to cure the world’s creatures from an infection known as “the withering”.
Creatures Of Ava will be released for PC and Xbox Series consoles later this year.
Roblox: Griefville X Chucky
Griefville: Survive The Nightmare is a horror game that launched today (March 6th, 2024) on Roblox featuring the character Chucky from the Child’s Play franchise. The game tasks you with either playing as a victim and attempting to survive Chucky’s attacks or playing as Chucky to stalk and eliminate players.
The Sinking City 2
Lovecraftian horror game The Sinking City is getting a sequel. The Sinking City 2 is a survival horror game set in the United States during the 1920s. You’re tasked with exploring the now Eldritch monster-infested city of Arkham, uncovering the secrets surrounding it, and surviving.
The Sinking City 2 launches on PC, Xbox Series consoles, and PS5 next year.
Final Fantasy XIV Online
MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV Online is launching on Xbox Series consoles in March 2024, and benefits from faster loading times, cross-play, 4K resolution support, and more.
Stalker Legends Of The Zone Trilogy
Stalkers: Legends of The Zone Trilogy is a bundle of survival horror FPS games Stalker: Shadow Of Chernobyl, Stalker: Clear Sky, and Stalker: Call Of Pripyat. Out now, the bundle marks the first time the games have been ported to consoles, and later updates will add graphical improvements and mod support.
Monster Jam Showdown
Monster Jam Showdown is a monster truck game that looks to involve racing, plenty of challenges, and lots of destruction. Not much else is known about the game, but it will launch later this year for Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles.
Persona 3 Reload: Expansion Pass
An expansion pass for Persona 3 Reload was announced, split across three waves that release on March 12th, in May, and in September. The pass culminates in the Episode Aigis: The Answer, which aims to conclude the game’s story. The expansion pass will launch for PC and Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
The First Berserker: Khazan
The First Berserker: Khazan is an action RPG that follows Great General Khazan as he embarks on a quest for vengeance against those who orchestrated his downfall. You’re tasked with mastering tough combat and unique weapons as you fight challenging bosses on your journey.
The First Berserker: Khazan launches on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series consoles.
Tales Of Kenzera: Zau
Metroidvania adventure game Tales Of Kenzera: Zau sees you take on the role of Zau, a young shaman who ventures into unknown mythological lands to reclaim his father’s spirit after making a bargain with the God of death.
Tales Of Kenzera: Zau launches in April for PC and PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch consoles.
Frostpunk 2
Frostpunk 2 is a simulation and strategy game that tasks you with building a city in a post-apocalyptic future set 30 years after Earth was ravaged by a blizzard. Face deadly threats, research technologies, and keep your city running to success.
Frostpunk 2 launches on PC this July, with a PS5 and Xbox Series release planned for later.
Kunitsu-Gami: Path Of The Goddess
Kunitsu-Gami: Path Of The Goddess is a Japanese-inspired action game with real-time strategy and tactical elements. Play as Soh to rescue villagers and maintain peace on Mount Kafuku during the day, and strategically fight eerie monsters known as Seethe at night.
Kunitsu-Gami: Path Of The Goddess launches on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series consoles later this year, with more information to be shared at tomorrow’s Capcom Highlights broadcast.
