Indie developer Inevitable Studios has announced its debut title: emotional, narrative adventure game Always In Mind.
The upcoming game, which is being developed by a former Square Enix, Ubisoft, and Sega developer, follows 12-year-old boy Teddy who, after a freak accident, lands in a coma with his only hope being an AI implant known as ‘Proxy’.
You’ll have to guide Teddy through his imagination by jumping, sliding, warping, and gliding throughout his subconsciousness in what’s been described as a “sentimental coming-of-age tale”.
Inevitable Studios Game Director Cord Smith said the game is “a love letter to the video games that we’ve played and adored over the years” and that the studio is aiming to “create a unique, story rich experience that leaves a lasting impression and tugs on the heartstrings of players of every generation.”
Always In Mind doesn’t yet have a release date but you can Wishlist the game on Steam and follow the studio’s X (Formerly Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts for updates, or just stay tuned here!
