Alan Wake Remastered has officially launched for the Nintendo Switch.

Developer Remedy Entertainment and publisher Epic Games announced the launch today on Twitter, revealing that the survival horror game is now available via the Nintendo eShop at a 20% discount of £19.99/€23.99/$23.99.

The game, which launched on PC and PlayStation and Xbox consoles last October, is a remaster of the original 2010 video game.

It follows author Alan Wake as he attempts to uncover the mystery behind his wife’s disappearance while on holiday in the fictional town of Bright Falls, all while experiencing events from a novel he doesn’t remember writing.

The game unfolds through several episodes, and gameplay sees Wake explore various areas of Bright Falls while facing shadow-possessed enemies and objects with a flashlight and various weapons.

Alan Wake Remastered includes improved cutscenes and visuals, and you can read what we thought of the game in our review.

You can grab Alan Wake Remastered now for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and on PC.
