Sifu Difficulty Modes Trailer

Sloclap has detailed the new difficulty modes coming to Sifu in a brand-new preview for next week’s free content update.

Releasing next Tuesday (May 3rd), the update will include three difficulty options for anyone struggling with the game. They are Student, Disciple, and Master.

According to the new trailer, the Disciple mode is the “classic Sifu experience”, while the easier Student mode has been described as more forgiving with less aggressive AI, weaker enemies, and an adapted ageing mechanic.

On the other side, the Master difficulty is for “seasoned players” and features more aggressive AI and new boss patterns to make for more challenging battles.

Alongside introducing new difficulty modes, Sloclap will be releasing physical versions of the game on May 3rd too for PlayStation consoles, which include a steelbook with the full game, three lithographs, a digital copy of the game’s soundtrack, and a 48-page art book.

In addition, Sloclap will be adding a gift for all Deluxe Edition owners; the Young Man suit that can be used on both male and female characters.

The difficulty mode update is the first of several to be released by Sloclap, as revealed in the studio’s free content roadmap for 2022.

The other updates will include new outfits, advanced scoring, a replay editor, and a new arena game mode.

Sifu is available now digitally for PC via Steam and PlayStation consoles, with a physical PlayStation release set for next week.
