Square Enix’s Project Athia will be a PS5 console exclusive for at least two years, Sony has confirmed.

The game, which still does not have an official name, was announced earlier this year with a brief teaser trailer showcasing some of the title’s potential gameplay.

Little to no information is known about the game other than that it will release on the PS5, and a new video released by Sony has confirmed that it will be a PS5 exclusive for two years.

Sony’s new video highlights new and upcoming games releasing on the PS5 and console and it includes footage of Project Athia along with a small footnote confirming that it is in development for PS5 and will launch on PC too, but no other platforms for at least two years.

The footnote reads: “In development for PS5. Also available on PC. Not available on other consoles until at least 24 months after release date.”

The trailer included footage from other PS5 games including Horizon Forbidden West which the trailer states will release in 2021 for PS4 and PS5, Gran Turismo 7 which has a release date of 2021, Deathloop and Ghostwire Tokyo which will both release on PS5 and PC in 2021 as console exclusives for 12 months, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart which will release on PS5 in 2021.

Other games featured in the trailer include Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Demon’s Souls, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, and many more. You can watch the trailer below:
