The developers behind Marvel’s Avengers are already working on a brand new “original” AAA video game.

Crystal Dynamics, the development team behind the recently released superhero video game, is working on a brand new triple-A video game according to a series of new job listings on the company website.

As first reported by Comicbook.com, one of the job listings reads that the new game is a “new original AAA game built in our Redwood City studio”. Additional listings suggest that the game will be multiplayer-based and will include PVP gameplay.

Some of the positions available at the company right now include combat designers, narrative designers, multiplayer systems designers, an online services engineer, environment artists, lighting artists, a level designer to create additional levels for Marvel’s Avengers, and plenty more.

Whatever Crystal Dynamics is creating, it’ll be a few years before we see anything or get an official announcement. Their latest project Marvel’s Avengers, which offers a free upgrade to next-gen consoles, just released and is expected to receive plenty of post-launch content including additional characters like Clint Barton and Kate Bishop as Hawkeye, PlayStation console exclusive Spider-Man, and plenty more.

Although any announcement for Crystal Dynamics’ next game may be a long way off, remember to check back for all the latest game news!
