Dark Fantasy Action RPG Thymesia Gets August 2022 Release Date
OverBorder Studio’s upcoming dark fantasy action RPG game Thymesia has been given an official release date.
The game was originally set to release in December 2021, but was delayed to 2022 to release Thymesia in “the best possible state”.
After months of waiting, developer OverBorder Studio has announced a release date of August 9th, alongside the release of a playable demo available now on PC via Steam.
Thymesia follows mysterious masked protagonist Corvus who must battle through the plague-ridden and blood-soaked streets of Hermes to uncover the truth hidden in his memories and save the once-thriving city. On his journey, you’ll need to use Corvus’ plague-powered weapons obtained from fallen foes to face seemingly impossible odds.
The game allows you to upgrade Corvus’ basic movements and weapons to devastating effect, useful for taking on Thymesia’s unforgiving enemies; citizens that have become corrupted by the plague and mutated into hostile, challenging monsters.
Thymesia will release for PC via Steam and for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles on August 9th, 2022. Check out the trailer below:
