Watch New Sea Exploration Gameplay From Upcoming Indie Game Tchia

Awaceb has released brand-new gameplay footage of its upcoming open-world indie game, Tchia.

The game draws inspiration from New Caledonia, the homeland of the studio’s co-founders, and it sees you use Tchia‘s special ability to take control of any animal or object to climb, glide, swim, and sail across the world.

Awaceb’s new footage showcases the title’s sea exploration footage, with Tchia sailing across the game’s world before diving into the sea to collect various resources. You also get a look at gliding, raft customisation, and more.

Throughout the game, you’ll uncover secrets, solve puzzles, and follow a heartfelt story filled with a diverse cast of characters inspired by New Caledonian culture. The game’s story is told through fully animated cutscenes and features voiced characters in traditional New Caledonian language.

Tchia was delayed to early 2023 last week but will be released on PC via the EPIC Games Store and on PlayStation consoles. Check out the new footage below:
