CD Projekt Red has confirmed that the first expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 will release next year.

The studio held its latest financial call on Thursday (April 14th) and shared a slide from the call on Twitter in which CD Projekt Red highlighted its production plans for 2022, including supporting Cyberpunk 2077, developing the new Unreal Engine 5 Witcher game and the Witcher 3 new-gen update.

The slide also highlighted the studio’s development of the first paid expansion for Cyberpunk 2077. Although the slide didn’t state a release date, the Tweet sharing the slide confirmed that the expansion “will arrive in 2023” before promoting more details later this year.

CD Projekt Red released the new-gen updates for Cyberpunk 2077 in February earlier this year for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles, but it recently announced that it was taking the development of the new-gen update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in-house and indefinitely delayed its launch.
