Paradox Interactive has announced the release of Cities: Skylines – Remastered for PS5 and Xbox Series consoles.
The game will be an upgraded edition of the popular city-building game made for new-gen consoles, and it’ll be available free to current owners of Cities: Skylines on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
According to Paradox Interactive, the remastered version of the game includes a slew of upgrades for new-gen consoles, including improved graphical performance, a quick selection tool, UX improvements, new environmental controls, a map editor, and an increase from nine to 25 buildable tiles.
Cities: Skylines Remastered will launch on February 15th, 2023, for £34.99/€39.99/$39.99 and will be available as a free upgrade to current owners of the game.
The news comes after a series of new DLC packs and updates were announced for Cities: Skylines.
