Action-Adventure Game Candle Knight Gets Steam Demo, 2023 Release Date

Mexican-based developer Dracma Studios has announced a release date and launched a new trailer and demo for its upcoming 2.5D action-adventure game Candle Knight.

The upcoming game sees you play as an enchanted candle holder trying to restore light to its home, an abandoned castle in a surreal, gothic world.

You’ll need to overcome menacing creatures lurking in the shadows of the castle and use the game’s dynamic difficulty system to your advantage, allowing you to move quicker and deal more damage, while avoiding enemy attacks as they too become more dangerous.

The game will require you to learn new abilities, enter mysterious paintings to discover secrets, complete challenging platforming sections with traps and enemies, and explore the game’s castle, which is filled with unique locations like enchanted libraries, perilous balconies, eerie armouries, and more.

A demo is available now on Steam and the game will launch on January 20th, 2023, and you can add it to your wishlist now.
