Remedy Entertainment’s Control is one of my favourite games. I’ve completed the game three times (Yes, I really do love it), including all 46 missions across the main game and two DLCs, The Foundation and AWE. If you’re looking to see how far you are in the game or which missions you’ve got left, take a look at my Control mission checklist for all main, side, and DLC quests.

The Control base game comes with 10 main missions, including my favourite mission ever in a video game, Polaris – you’ll understand why once you finally complete it.
Over the course of these 10 missions, you’ll get to explore the Oldest House and uncover what the Federal Bureau of Control has been keeping hidden from the lives of people around the world. It’s pretty scary stuff!
The 10 missions you’ll complete are below as a checklist, so remember to tick them off as you play!

The base game comes with a total of 19 side missions. You'll need to complete all side missions, except Dr Yoshimi Tokui's Guided Imagery Experience, to fully complete the game and unlock all trophies and achievements.
I also recommend you try completing many of the side quests. Many provide you with additional abilities that I found very useful later in the game, like Shield, and others provide you with fun boss fights as well as plenty more lore.
The Dr. Yoshimi Tokui's Guided Imagery Experience side mission was previously exclusive to the PlayStation 4 Digital Deluxe version of the game, but it was made available to all players with the PS5 and Xbox Series remaster of the game.

Foundation was the first DLC released for Control. It includes three main missions, three side missions, and an additional Expedition mission, as part of a new type of side activity.
The Foundation DLC was great in adding additional lore to the game and giving you a chance to learn more about the Oldest House, but I very much preferred Control's scarier AWE DLC.
Many players, including myself, also encountered issues completing Pope's Collection due to a bug preventing the game from recognising you've collected a card. If this happens to you, restart your console and enter the game again and collect the cards once more for the quest to progress.

AWE is the second DLC expansion released for Control. It ties heavily into Alan Wake and acts as a prologue to Alan Wake 2 - a must-play for anyone who enjoys survival horror and loved Control, particularly the horror elements of the AWE DLC. I myself loved AWE and Alan Wake 2, so please don't skip out!
In the DLC, you must explore the Investigations Sector, which has been abandoned and sealed after a security breach.

Those are all of the missions in Control. I hope you enjoy Control as much as I have, and if you haven't already, please do play Alan Wake and its sequel Alan Wake 2 - both tie into the Control universe directly.
If you're not sure about Alan Wake and whether you'd like it, make sure to read my review of the Remastered edition of the game.
