Earlier today, Microsoft announced its first Xbox Developer Direct of the year, with the digital event taking place next Thursday on January 18th at 8 PM GMT / 9 PM CET / 3 PM ET / 12 PM PT.
As part of the announcement, Microsoft confirmed that the Developer Direct will include looks at MachineGames’ upcoming Indiana Jones, Obsidian Games’ Avowed, Ninja Theory’s Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, and Oxide Games’ Ara: History Untold.
According to Xbox Wire, the showcase will include the premier of the first Indiana Jones gameplay trailer, as well as details about the game’s story, setting, and gameplay.

Meanwhile, Obsidian will share a deep dive into Avowed and its RPG gameplay, with details on how the studio has created the game’s detailed fantasy world.
Oxide Games will share new gameplay and details about its upcoming grand strategy game Ara: History Untold, while Ninja Theory will share a behind-the-scenes look at Hellblade 2.
An Elder Scrolls Online 2024 Global Reveal will follow after the showcase at 9 PM GMT / 10 PM CET / 4 PM ET / 1 PM PT, wherein ZeniMax Online Studios will reveal the next chapter for the online game, including details of its zone, storyline, and new features.
